Chateau Mcely Review— A Place That Just Feels Right
First Visit: February 2023 – Just Me and a Feeling
The first time I visited Chateau Mcely, it was just me — no wedding, no guests, just a meeting with the management team. It was February 2023, cold outside, but something about the place felt warm and inviting. Within the first few minutes, I knew this was somewhere special.

Tucked away in the peaceful St. George Forest, this chateau isn’t just a hotel. It’s a retreat. Every room is unique, the interiors are elegant, the air is filled with the scent of Mcely Bouquet natural cosmetics, and the silence is… therapeutic. That one meeting turned into something more. I left with a deep respect for the place — and a gut feeling that I’d be back.
Second Visit: June 2024 – With Tatiana, and the Real Beginning

A year later, we returned — this time with Tatiana. It was another meeting, but now we were exploring a real partnership. We spent the night, and everything about that stay confirmed it: Chateau Mcely was the place.

- There was a bottle of wine and a bowl of fresh fruit waiting in our room.
- That evening, we took their Lexus LC500 convertible for a spin through the countryside — part of their brand partnership with Lexus.
- We relaxed in the spa, which is built around natural aromatherapy. It’s not just wellness — it’s a full reset.
- The sleep? Incredible. Pure peace. No noise. No stress. Just calm energy all around.
- And then… the breakfast. Honestly? Next level. Locally sourced ingredients, homemade jams, smoothies, fresh-baked everything. We could go on and on, but the real standout was the vibe — slow mornings, beautiful sunlight through the windows, soft piano playing. Yes, live music at breakfast.

That morning, we looked at each other and said, “We could do a wedding here.”
First Wedding: June 2025 – Dreams Turned Real
By the end of 2024, the decision was made. And in June 2025, we pulled off our first wedding at Chateau Mcely. It was everything we hoped it would be — and more.
In the months leading up to the wedding, we were on-site often:
- Tasting menus, wedding cake samplings, vendor meetings…
- Long talks with the team about how to bring our couple’s vision to life.
- And full venue walk-throughs where we imagined every single moment.
The wedding itself? Glamourous, elegant, unforgettable. The Chateau Mcely Review wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the food (from Piano Nobile restaurant) — seasonal, creative, and deeply local. Their chef, Jan Štěrba, creates dishes that feel like a story on a plate. And our favorite member of Mcely team, Milan, who is responsible for smooth operations of F&B department.

The staff, especially Veronika and Eliška from the wedding team, were nothing short of amazing. Professional, kind, always one step ahead. It’s rare to find a team that’s both calm and incredibly precise. We trusted them, and they delivered.
Why This Place Stays With You
This Chateau Mcely Review wouldn’t be honest if we didn’t point out that it’s more than just beautiful — it’s conscious. An eco-luxury property with real heart — zero emissions, natural materials, and deep respect for nature. You can feel that intention in every part of the space, from the gardens to the spa to the little notes in the rooms.
